How to Export Check Register from QuickBooks:

1. Click the "Edit" menu and select "Use Register" from the drop-down list.

2. Select the check register you want to use and click "OK."

3. Click the "Print" icon and set the "From" and "Through" fields to correspond to the dates you want to export. Click "OK."

4. Click the "Settings" tab in the Print Lists dialog box.

5. Select the "File" radio button, then choose "ASCII Text File," "Comma Delimited File" or "Tab Delimited File" from the drop-down list and click "Print." If you are exporting to Excel, use the "Comma Delimited File" option.

6. Choose the location on your computer where you want to save the file and click "Save."

If you're new to QuickBooks and want a simple step-by-step guide on how to export Quickbooks Check Register, then follow these instructions:

 

  • Login to the dashboard for your QuickBooks.

  • Click on the tab for banking.

  • Search for editing There will now be a drop-down menu. From the predefined list, select Use Registers tab.

  • Choose the one you want to export from the checklist provided.

  • Click all right. Click all right.

  • Now click on the Print Register to select the date for which the check register will be printed, saved or exported.

  • Choose all right to the dialogue box appearing now.

  • Click on the file from the Settings tab

  • Choose one of the following options from the list below. These choices will help you determine what to do with your file. If you just want to export the check register from QuickBooks to Excel, select "comma delimited file format." If you want to print the file, you can use any of the file formats listed below.

  • Comma-separated text file, ASCII text file, or Tab-separated text file

  • By clicking the browse option, you can select your favourite location. Click Save when you've navigated to the location you want to save to.
