Just a buncha guys and a buncha airplanes I have spent over $7,000 and gotten 55 hours with these bozos. They sell you a syllabus and video course when you sign up, but none of the instructors have a logon to check your progress in the course and none of them use the syllabus.
Spoiler
The first instructor was only available alternate weekends, even though I specified when I signed up that I was only available on weekends. The second instructor was a commercial pilot who canceled on me about 35% of the time when more lucrative commercial jobs popped up. The third was a retiree who yelled at me the entire time in the ****pit, then disappeared to Vegas for two weeks without making arrangements for me while he was gone. Then number 4 was a very old man with balance problems who was constantly grabbing the yoke out of my hands in a panic.
About 10% of my lessons were canceled due to maintenance issues with the airplanes: either they were out of annual, or there was something mechanically wrong with them. On my second solo, a tire blew out on landing, and all the instructors were saying, "Oh, yeah, we were wondering who the lucky one was going to be who that bald tire blew out on!" The tire had a bald patch about 3" X 5" with the fabric showing through... it was on the bottom when I preflighted or I would have refused to take it up!
I soloed (safely) twice, then instructor number 4 decided not to renew my solo endorsement and I quit these idiots in disgust. My advice is to take some vacation time and do a FAR 141 school in another city. I am planning to do finish up school in another city over the Summer.
